ADULT MINISTRIES

Mt. Comfort's many adult ministries are the natural outgrowth of our members' needs to worship God, instruct others and spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

Music Ministry:

For those who love music ministry, Mt. Comfort offers an adult hand-bell choir, the Comfort Tones, an adult choir, opportunities for solo and small group vocal and instrumental special music. The church presents a special Easter musical drama and has special concerts featuring nationally and locally known Christian artists. 

Small Groups:

A small group ministry for men and women helps everyone develop closer relationships while concentrating on Bible-related subjects and studies. These groups meet at various times of the year and usually number 15 people or less. There is a special men's Bible study offered each Wednesday morning and a women's study on Thursday mornings. Also, "Mom's In Touch" groups with a morning and an evening meeting time.

The Comforters:

The Comforters are a senior citizens group consisting of church members and seniors in the community that meet the first Thursday of each month for a pitch-in style lunch and special program.

F.U.N.

F.U.N. Families United in Nurturing are families that gather to sponsor activities that promote Christian fellowship and nurturing and support Christian family values.
