Troop 236, sponsored by Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church meets most Tuesday evenings at 6:30 P.M. from September through June in the fellowship hall of the church. Members of the Troop participate in weekly meetings, monthly campouts, service projects while working on rank advancements and merit badges. 

Boys have the opportunity to learn about knots, first aid, camping, cooking, swimming, and hiking, among other things. Most important boys have opportunities to learn about leadership, citizenship, and physical fitness.

Boy Scout Troop 236 is located in Mt. Comfort, Indiana and is sponsored and supported by the members of the Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church.
